hi,
very insightful and lots of ideas.
what are your thoughts on going the full range, i.e that would be all the way past parallel, i think that's 270 degrees?
if not for reps, then just to get a full stretch in the abs?

Ismael,

Stretching isn't at issue. We're looking for full range of motion eventually, so I'm supportive of going past parallel. Nonetheless, partial range of motion confers most of the benefits for the beginner without the potential for catastrophic muscle soreness.
