Team Again Faster

Jon Gilson, Owner

uploaded-file-06504Jon is the owner and editor-in-chief of Again Faster. Jon is a CrossFit Certified Instructor, a member of CrossFit's Level I Certification Staff, a USA Track and Field Coach, a USA Weightlifting Club Coach, and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. He also holds four CrossFit specialty certifications: Barbell, Endurance, Rowing, and Gymnastics.

Jon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 2003, graduating summa cum laude, and a Certificate of Management in Finance and Control from the Harvard University Extension School in 2006.


 


Patrick Cummings, Media Producer

uploaded-file-36751Patrick is in charge of all media productions for Again Faster. He has written, directed, and produced a number of award-winning short films, including one of MTV's 2006 Top 25 student films. He is the mastermind behind Again Faster's ever-growing contributions to the CrossFit Journal.

Patrick received a Bachelor's Degree in Writing for the Screen and Stage from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and holds both a Master's Certificate in Screenwriting and a Master's Degree in Media and Visual Arts from Emerson College.


 

 



Samantha Keough, Service Director and Research Manager

SamIsBeautiful.JPGSamantha is an Again Faster-sponsored athlete. A four-year CrossFit veteran, her athletic achievements place her squarely in the top-tier of CrossFitters. Her experiences in gymnastics and field hockey, combined with consistent training, have led her to perform muscle-ups, bodyweight-plus overhead squats, and effortless pistols, as well as the metabolic capacity to turn in excellent workout times day after day. Samantha is a CrossFit Level I Trainer and a USA Track and Field Coach.

Samantha received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Boston College in 2007. She works tirelessly at Again Faster, leading our efforts to become a better and more efficient organization.




 


Eva Claire Synkowski, Athlete

EC.JPGE.C. is an Again Faster-sponsored athlete. Her unwaivering dedication to the platform has given her the ability to lift loads beyond the level of most female athletes. E.C.s athletic ability, combined with her exact attention to mechanics and extensive knowledge of proper dietary practices makes her a tremendous resource to Again Faster. Eva Claire is a CrossFit Level II Trainer, and holds a CrossFit Level I Olympic Weightlifting Certification.

She received her B.S. in Biological Resource Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2002, graduating summa cum laude, and received her M.S. in Natural Resource Sciences from the same institiution in 2004.
